Bleeding next to the veins

Post by Mark Raw »

Could this be the x virus? I have noticed my Pauls glory has a couple of leaves with the ink bleed effect but it isnt exactly coming from the leaf veins but in between them. Its green in colour and just 2 leaves are showing it albeit only slight. Sorry I don't have any pictures. The plant is grown in a pot (as are all my plants) am I best to leave it for another year and see what happens if not I will take it back to the nursery where I bought the plant and complain.

If the green isn't right on the vein then no, it probably isn't HVX. Paul's Glory can show some odd color changes at times, making people suspect HVX when it isn't.
