Infected?

I purchased 4 Patriot hosta last year from Lowe's and I noticed this year that the leaves on two were very strange. At first I assumed it was frost damage but now I'm wondering if it is Virus X. I see a lot of posts for other hosta but not for Patriots.

Welcome to the forums. What you are seeing is cold damage/frost damage. Normally you aren't going to see any visible symptoms of HVX on Patriot anyway, so just keep it in mind to clean your tools (disinfecting wipes are great) when cutting into or digging around the garden.
Don't worry about what you are seeing here.
