O.C.'s replanted from elsewhere, Helleborus

Post by oldcoot »

Every time he sees one, he wants to call it a "Lenten-Rose" because that is what his Mother called them. He moved about 8 of them from other places and now he has them as a border in front of his "Container-Rack" with calla Lilies space between, giving each room to GROW. He also has a number of them in the front of his raised shade bed. (Will get dampled sun) Put a nice Ceramic border in front, good dirt to fill it in, and BONE MEAL, to make the roots grow strong.

A nature lover at heart, that Funny and Friendly Old Coot named John

Went out this morning to water agin, it is really dry here. No rain since Ivan passed through several weeks ago. In the other bed I looked at, the folliage looks real good also. Lo and behold, some of them have small red berries on them. Does that mean that there will be a bloom there one day ??

O.C. saying come on Christmas..........................
