Sorry Boop I didn't see this until now. Just way to busy. I have one that is huge and don't have the heart to dig her
up and love the fact that she is that huge for over 10 years. Her blooms are impressive and with the heat now she
can be dug up and divided. I do them just like the daylilies but I'm thinking of just leaving this one. I have done
a couple others but they just aren't the same after they are divided. They did poorly put in another spot in the yard.

Sorry, I missed this one too! You can divide them in the fall without any trouble. I divide mine all the time in october and I've never had a division fail on me, and most flower again right away the next spring. But the fall is the only time you want to do it as they don't send out new roots at other times of the year. Two years ago I dug huge one up, got 41 divisions from it, and over half of those flowered the very next spring.

Thanks Chris-will do-I have about 4 that are ginormous and I love the colors on each and can get so many plants out of them. Just saved me some $$ as it's a bit pricey to buy new ones. :D

Boop, you don't save the seeds? I have hundreds of them, colors unknown if you want to pay postage?

So sorry Boops, I'm just now keeping up here. It will take a couple years to see them bloom.

No problem-I think I'll try from my plants and get seed in the spring. Thanks for the offer-I haven't even had luck with Hosta seed I tried to germinate. I'm going to try again as I have a huge bunch of pods from Climax and some from Robin Hood I'm going to give it another shot.
