Special Planting Instructions

Post by Willowy »

I read all the posts here and didn't see any discussion...I wanted to know if there are any special planting instructions for Heuchs (especially this late in the fall)? I heard somewhere that planting deep may be a good thing. Any thoughts or knowledge?

I'll add a Heuch (that I haven't seen posted) for your viewing enjoyment ...

I wouldn't plant them any deeper than I normally do - but that's just me. Just make sure the roots are loosened, firm them into the soil well, & keep them watered until the ground freezes if you're not having rains.
