Heuchera temp question

Post by MollyD »

Hi,

I'm raising heucheras for sale on my local market and they're in one gallon pots. This is my first try at this and I'm wondering what are the optimum minimum night time temps for them? They're in the greenhouse right now being grown on but I was wondering what the night temps should be before I move them out of there. I'm keeping a few for my own garden! I hadn't seen them on the local market and had no idea how far hybridizers had come with them over the years!!

Thanks!

I planted a flat of my seedlings out already (they were growing out of their 4 inch pots and wasting my space  Our night temps have been in the 40's -50's and they are looking good. Like they have been there forever!

We're still dipping down into the 30's every so many nights. Guess I should wait a bit more to put them out. No sign yet of Purple Palace .
