Last year you bought some bamboo called Fargesia Nitida.
How is it doing? I'm thinking of getting some this year, but want to see if yours lived through the winter LOL.
Or is it to early to tell yet?

If dandelions were hard to grow, they would be most welcome on any lawn. ~Andrew Mason

Hi Annie! I came here to post a question and found your post -
Yes, it made it through the winter and is showing growth already this year! We got it mid-season last year at Hornbakers. In just a half-season we watched some young small shoots grow about a foot and they are still going this year.
It likes moisture, so this spring has been great for it. Last year during the heat of summer you could see the edges of the leaves start to curl when it needed water. I'll mulch some more this year to keep the moisture in.
I can't wait to see it really kick in with a good growth spurt. I'm anxious to see how big it will get.
