I've noticed recently that when I click on a contact's name, there are a couple of links under their information -
Add friend
Add foe
Don't know if they were always there and I was just not observant or whether they are new. I AM wondering about their purpose. I can see Adding a Friend, but I guess I thought we were all friends over here. Adding a foe? does that block someone from contacting you?
Just wondered.

Friends can be added for those that you contact a lot, making it easier to send messages from your friends list in the user control panel.
Foes just make it easy to ignore posts from people, if you want. Their posts won't show up. It can be handy from time to time, but probably won't be used very often. On really busy boards these might be used more than you would here.
