Mystery Seedling -- up to date pics
Here is the supposedly-heuchera-but-definitely-not seedling, as it appears this morning. It's in a 3 1/2 inch pot, and is about 4 inches high at present. I've done three pics from different angles, so you can get a better idea of its shape. The main stem is fuzzy, but that doesn't show up on the pic. Phyllis
I've just added some additional pics, taken today, April 10. You can see all the side shoots coming off the main stem. The pics are on a new post on this thread.

Notmartha -- It does look like a hibiscus, doesn't it? Whatever it is, its seed needs to have been very tiny, because it was mixed in with heuchera seeds and chaff, all of which is pulverized so it looks like fairy dust. A large seed would have been noticeable, for sure. We'll just have to keep waiting to see what it is. Phyllis
PS I have NO hibiscus plants at all!

It looks like my annual salvia by the shape of the leaves and the hairiness of them but salvia seeds are much bigger than the heuchera. Sure don't think it is a weed.

Sorry, no idea...
Do not think it is a hibiscus, a birch or salvia, but do not have a clue

Against stupidity the gods themselves struggle in vain.
