Welcome back, Mr. Leafy. You and your pics have been missed! Hope all is well. When I begin to start my hosta seeds I always think of you, your guidance on hosta seed starting and growing on of seedlings has been invaluable to me. All the best.

Welcome back LM!!!!
And thanks for the scary photo.... with my rodent phobia, I am SURE to have nightmares now
Hope to see some of your baby photos... they are always a wonderful pick-me-up in the cold dreary winter months.

Mr Leafmould! Great shot but I would have grabbed a shovel to clobber him instead of the camera

He probably has one of those fancy shovel-mounted cameras.
Welcome back, Leafy. It's good to "hear" from you again.

Shrews are venomous and can overpower a larger animal with its bite
They will kill voles and eatem, their metabolisim runs hot and they have to feed constantly.
Voles will head for the hills at the first wiff of shrew urine

Welcome back, Mr. LM!!
Great pic.
So I spose now you'll be starting a lucrative shrew urine business venture now that hosta lovers near & far know its value...

My thoughts exactly Reldon! I still don't think I have shrews or voles here in OK (at least at my house) but do you think it works on gophers?

If you're looking for shrew urine, perhaps Ann Coulter would be willing to contribute.
Nice to see you again, Leafy.
