Slugs are out already at my house (zone 5b, SW Ohio...) after the warm temps and rain we've had, they've ventured out of hiding. Today I killed about 6 or so... Hostas aren't even out of dormancy yet, but there they were, slithering around on the poor little dormant eyes. Guess I better get out the sluggo and the ammonia with sprayer... Let the slug-slaying begin!!
