Buds and Blooms
Back down the dungeon today for some pics.
Nothing is blooming outside and almost everything is blooming inside.
Is there anyone else out there breeding to enhance hosta flowers ? Am I all alone..trapped in a dungeon ?
I think many are discouraged by the fact that you have to wait for a seedling to bloom before culling and need lots of space to do that.
The good side is that once you decide to keep a seedling because of the bloom, the flower does not change much as the plant matures.
I've picked three favourites of the day, showing bud and bloom, here is the first, this is a large flower,

Blooms
Most of my interesting flowers are yet to show in the seedlings. I have one of my Akane ready to show off soon and a bunch more on the way along with some kokuryu seedlings coming too.
So yes, others are chasing interesting blooms too.

Just beautiful, plain beautiful... have to write Danish for not to repeat myself all the times - next time
