Majesty

Post by newtohosta-no more »

A few years ago when DH and I were travelling in Michigan we stopped at Hallson's on the way home. My first visit there! I picked up two hostas....Majesty and Alex Summers......and they are both doing fantastic. I don't have a pic yet this year of AS ,but I couldn't resist taking one of Majesty one day. What a pretty hosta!! Big thick eyes and such a nice form. The colors just pop in the spring. :D
Thanks Chris and Brian for such a spectacular hosta!

I understood Majesty was a smaller version of Sagae but yours looks big (compared with the shoe ). Would you consider it a medium or a large?

I just got that one this year to go in my Royalty theme bed. It is quite pretty.

That sure does look like a good one, Joan!! :P I didn't know what Majesty's parentage was, but the 1st thing I thought when I saw it was that it reminded me a lot of my Liberty.

There does seem to be lots of similarities and as for the size......well.....right now I'd call it a nice big medium one.
