Beautiful Pictures. I just love Lakeside Cha Cha. Someone gave me the plant last year. I love the shade of green and how it holds the creamy yellow edge. It is my favorite right now.

Man, I just heard LucyGoose hit the floor from way up here!

I love the lush, full look...I think a hosta garden should show far more hosta than mulch or dirt! I especially like the second grouping...except that space between Striptease and whatever up front is just crying out for a Salute, though (hehe).

Of course, when mine start doing that, I know it is time to dig the entire bed, refresh with composted manure/leafmould then replant only half the hosta there. So far, it has worked out to be every 3 yrs. The entire original garden is due again next year...uh-oh...here comes a new garden!

Thanks Wanda, I like that look too, but man I dread the dig up,rework and replant. I have the front yard to do with about 100 hosta out there. I know you have alot too. I tired just thinking about it.

Beautiful pics!!! I love the combinations you've put together.
I had a friend here yesterday. She asked what I was going to do about the crowded condition of my hosta beds. Well, they are all pretty much as big as they're going to get, so they're staying right where they are. I don't have the energy to dig and redo the beds. A little compost for mulch, and I'm done. I do sometimes move a few out if it's too crowded, but I don't like to see the ground either.
Less ground showing means less weeding!
LG, I think you need to take a breath, dear. You're getting a little blue in the face. I can see that you were so frightened that your hair curled....
