H. Double D Cup - One you may never have seen

Post by wzbt03 »

If nothing else the name alone will make this one a must for collectors.

It starts out Gray/Gray and develops its color as the season progresses I am told. Quite different from many others that do the reverse.

Right now it is sending up scapes to play with.

Every picture I see of this plant looks different. It matures into something totally unlike what you see.

Yeah, the biggest leaves are recovering from shipping but it is coming around.
Do you think it needs implants?

I will post pictures of it as the season continues.

Right now I am trying to determine the best pollen parent for it.
There might even be a few seeds in it for the person who makes the best suggestion is they set.

I don't know if I would let it seed, I'd cut the flowers and let it recover and grow. Thats just me. Otherwise using a hosta like Double Dutch might create some interesting yellowish/greenish/greyish seedlings that are reversed and the name would also match.

Check out the Foosf pages. It is one of Stuart Asch's best plants in my humble opinion.
