Pic of the Day--Emerald Tiara

Hi All--Emerald Tiara is one of many varieties that are at their best during the earlier part of the season. By late summer it does look a bit tired. However, that should not stop anyone from considering this very nice plant. We have been growing Emerald Tiara since 1997 in a spot that receives a few hours of afternoon sun in mid season and only indirect light in spring and fall. Its size has stabilized and averages within an inch or two of 33x13. Zilis' listing is 35x17. This is another variety that benefits from regular use of slug bait.
