Sherborne Swift

I took these pics on the 19th, and I'm finally getting around to posting them...

Sherborne Swift is probly one of the lesser known of the Tardianas, but I managed to find it in 2002 I think. Not that I knew what a Tardiana was until later. LOL

Last year it was moved to near the front of this garden where it gets very dappled midday sun. No direct sun. [It had always been farther back under the spirea, but it may have gotten a bit of late afternoon sun there.] It seems to like it in the new spot - it's a much darker blue now I think.

But that blue is hard to capture for my camera by itself. This is the closest I've come in several attempts this year. The color is more accurate in the one with Revolution & the group pic.

Love that milk can!!! Oh yea, love your Sherborne Swift too!!! I'm a blue fanatic. I got one last year, but it looks like.........well, you know.

That last pic is a really nice arrangement. Very nice I love the milkcan too. My mother had one in the house as decoration when I was a kid..and those always bring back fond memories.

I love seeing pics of everyone's gardens...gives me so much inspiration!

My Sherborne Swift seems to have stready growth but nothing rapid at all.
It is a very nice blue to have.
