'Sea Beacon' and others ('Mama Mia' & 'Robert Frost')

Post by bengal »

Went daylily shopping at one place; ended up at a nursery that sells hostas and daylilies. I didn't have time to take many pics of hostas, but I did manage to get a few of some I really liked.

I just previewed my post. It occurs to me that there's a theme running through the three pictures. I think I like hostas with wide white edges. In fact, I know I do!

See links below for the following hostas:

All 3 are nice - I've got them. Robert Frost is probly the nicest of the 3 I think. Sea Beacon in early spring light before the margins change to white & the centers darken is pretty 8-) too!! And Mama Mia this year is looking really good. The one that had been getting lots of shade still has very creamy colored margins & it kind of glows.

As long as you're doing white margined hostas, you need to get Silk Kimono & Spring Fling if you haven't already. Both are very distinctive.
GO HAWKEYES!!!

All very lovely!! My favorite white-margined hosta... Eventide!
