For Chris: Ultramarine today

Post by Linda P »

Hi, Chris
I've been meaning to get out and take some pics for you of Ultramarine in my garden. I finally got them this evening. I was trying to get one without the flash, but I'll have to go out in the morning to see if I can get one.
This was a little 2-leaved liner in the summer of 02. It's a bit smaller this year than it was last year, due to the big freeze nipping off a few eyes. It's still a respectable size, and one of my favorites. I can't wait for Tidewater to grow up so I can compare the two.

It certainly is showing it's appreciation of that great dark soil you have! :D Nice!

I don't know if you can make it out, but that's Ultramarine standing up there towards the right back of this pic. It's a really tall plant!
