How Big is your Blue Angel?
I noticed this year my Blue Angel has once again outgrown its place...going to have to move it again this fall.
I only got it in 2004. I'm wondering how big it will get?
Love to see some pictures. Mines so big I can't seem to compress it small enough to post the picture I'll try to get a smaller file size tomorrow

Thanks!
Well, I bought 5 Blue Angels at the same time and this is the only one that is 'true'. The others are too green and smaller (but the flowers are the same so I am guessing it is Green Angel). I do have two others that used to be Guardian Angel and they are as big and impressive as this one.
Cheers!

Ann, you do have the most gorgeous blossom on your Blue Angel!
Mine is 80 X 26 this year. I don't know how big it would be if it wasn't squashed between a few other hostas. In this pic it's looming behind a huge Gold Regal.
I have a Guardian Angel that's 70 X 24 this year.

Love these pictures of Blue Angel. Is this very different from Elegans?

Wow
Wow, those Blue Angel's are awesome. Do any of yours set many pods? The ones that I have worked with set very few, if any. I would love to use this as a pollen parent on some of my streakers.

This picture is a month or so old, but I just walked out and measured it. Looks like it's about 88" wide and 36" tall. It was kinda hard to get an accurate measurement though because of other plants being in the way. The ol' girl looks a little crispier now though - darn drought!

Ut oh! I htink I need to move a few around mine and give it more room. I have a feeling next year it will take over that small garden it's in after seeing all your beauties!
Great specimens!
