Hi All--Marilyn is the kind of variety that is nice to have around the garden but it may not draw a lot of attention. It has good yellow coloring and forms a well shaped, dense clump. However, the same sort of comments can be made about a number of varieties and Marilyn has a problem passing the 10 foot rule. Its growth rate is about average. We had a 5 year old plant that came up a few inches short of Zilis' listing of 43x17. The plant in our Friendship Garden has measured 26x16 and a denser 26x10 in it two years so it is on track to hit maturity about on schedule.
