I guess in hindsight I should have come on here looking for names for this plant. These are some good ones. I have already reserved the name Chris, but I am hoping this plant is fertile and I may be able to use these names for her babies.
Thanks again everyone. It's nice to see my excitement over this plant reflected in you guys. My friends who are not gardeners just look at it and say, yeah, it's nice, but it doesn't DO anything.
Doesn't DO anything? DOESN'T DO ANYTHING!
It enchants, beguiles, and most of all, entices one to commit the sin of covetousness.
Wow...that is just beyond words. If a division of that one ever became available at auction, you might end up holding the world record. Did I say I love it? I do, I really do.

My want list has a link to the thread this was first posted on. Whatever the name I like it the way it is. When I read Chris' post I thought of the big wave all the surfers covet in Hawaii (but I don't remember that name, lol)
Lynn tell your non hosta friends that your plant is the stuff that dreams are made of! I'd take out a second mortgage to get a piece of it!! Congratulations on such a beautiful plant!
I'm not very good at naming anything, and personally don't really care about names most of the time so I don't care what you call it I just want to see it growing in my garden one day , soon I don't usually save pictures of hostas, unless they are my own, but did save this one and put it in my wish list/dream-on file! Good luck with it, Lynn
Wow! Yes I want to be on the list of when this Quiet Water is going to be available! What am I like the 1000's # on the list? lol it's worth waiting for! That has to be the most interesting hosta I've seen!
I like the name Quiet Water... I sure hope it keeps it's pattern, how old is it? What is the size? Does it seem to be fast growing or slow?
I've like the names everyones throwing out there and even Lucy's Water
