New Zilis book?

I was just at The Homestead Division's website (Pete & Jean Ruh's place), and here is a quote from their new 2008 online catalog:

JUNE 21 & 22, 2008…………………….WEEKEND WITH HOSTAS Mark Zillis will be speaking. He will have signed copies of his new book

We will see if this holds true...but I will be there to find out. Of course last June when he spoke there he said it would be out in the fall.

I emailed Homestead, asking about the weekend. Here is the answer I got:

For the weekend with hostas, Mark will have his new book which is in the $75.00 range. He will speak on Saturday June 21 at 11:00 am and on Sunday June 22 at 1:00pm. He will be signing copies of his new book and answering all your hosta questions.

Thanks for the info! I'll call Q & Z on Monday and see if they are taking orders yet, and find out the price for an unsigned copy.

At $75.00 it might make a good Christmas gift!

Latest word from Homestead is Mark will be there speaking, his book is not yet out...maybe in August...(or Christmas, or next year....)

I think he fully intended to have it out by Convention. He wouldn't have had Ruh's announce it otherwise.
