hadspen blue
My Hadspen Blue hosta leafs are turning a rust color. Any ideas why.

Mine turned rust color for two reasons - a) I knew it was in too much sun but I was ok with that for this year but when it got worse all of a sudden b) voles had eaten all the roots and it wasn't getting any water anymore. See if you can tug on it and lift it out of the ground. I've learned the hard way this year about vole damage but it's possible your plant is suffering from some other problem. Posting a picture helps!

thanks for your help, I live in Northeast Ohio and these little guys are cookin in the sun. I'll post picture tomorrow.

Sounds like you hit the nail on the head - Blue hostas don't do so good cookin in the sun. You'll get the best blue in a lot of shade.
