Beautiful hosta pictures! I know a lot of people don't like Color Glory because it can get spring burn so bad, but that one looks perfect! The others do too.

Do you have others? Those are great :)

Thanks for the kind remarks.

My CG has very little burn. What causes it to burn? Mine is in a sheltered area with good moisture. Does that make a difference?

Beautiful hostas, Poppi. :D

Color Glory is in the same sieboldiana family as Frances Williams & they all have a tendency to burn. Mine is in the deepest shade I have & doesn't burn, but it doesn't get too large either. The 1st spring I had it there was one really hot sunny day after milder spring days/temps & CG burned badly with just the little amount of sun it got. I moved it to deeper shade not long after & I don't think it's ever burned again.

Renaldo,

This CG is in part sun. I was looking at it last night and there is some burn, but it's very slight. It has gotten pretty big...probably 4 ft across. It must like it's home.
