First bearded irises are opening...

Post by Garden_of_Mu »

The earliest bearded irises have started here in the Garden of Mu. A little MDB clone of i. lutescens always starts off. It was a nice surprise last Monday when temps hit the mid 70's. Now it is a lovely stretch of clumps along the driveway. Dark Vader popped open today, even tho temps are cool. This is one of my favorites. So dark and so reliable. I see stalks rising on several others, so more to come! :D
