Need help to ID a Woodland Flower

This plant has been growing in my woods (I didn't plant it) & there is some at the side of the house also. These are all in mostly shade under trees. It is perhaps 6 - 8 inches high & the flowers maybe 1 1/2" - 2". They are very white & pretty. I'll try to attach a picture.

Are you serious? You didn't plant these? Wow, you have a gem there. Those are double flowering bloodroot, Sanguinaria canadensis multiplex They tend to be very expensive at nurseries, though not many sell them.

If you have these all over the woods I wonder if they are naturally occurring? The doubles are very rare in the wild. You are very lucky to have that many

Thanks for the ID Chris. I first noticed this one last year when it was blooming & wondered where it came from. Still don't know. I don't know where the ones came from that are on the West side of the house either. We live on 2 acres of timber so there is plenty of shade & filtered sun for them. I know the ones on side of the house weren't there a couple years ago, because I was planting hosta over there & would have noticed them.
There is also a large Jack-in-the-Pulit on that side of the house too. There were some of them out in the front woods so maybe birds ate the seeds & deposited them there.
I'll probably never know, but it's nice to know that I have something free besides weeds coming up.
