While waiting for a few new plants to arrive from Chris, I have a few photos to share with you.
Here are Mighty Mouse on the upper left, and ruffle form of Mighty Mouse on the right and a bit of Sunlight Child for contrast.
Nigrescens in the foreground and Sum and Substance starting to unfurl. I love the shape of Nigrescens, it is so stately and graceful!
Sagae just starting to roll out, can't wait to see it full size. These are all going into a new (hopefully vole proof) raised bed where they can spread their roots out and say "Ahhhhh".

Whiskey Sour is already looking good.
My flower pot garden in the shade of my red Camellia tree. Liberty is shining out in the middle.
Spiked Punch is a breeder hosta I got from Chris last year.

Hacksaw
Ginsu Knife
Dragon tails--love this one! You can see I was after golds and wavy edges last year.

Waving Wuffles..new one last year and a really pretty hosta
Spilt Milk...was a little worried last fall as it seemed to fade earlier than others but this is such a nice healthy plant, thanks Chris!
Here is the new raised bed going in. Finishing up the underground 'vole fence' this weekend and backfilling soil around the walls. I'm putting tamped crushed gravel in the bottom of the bed after I do some leveling, then top soil with a lot of compost and bark fines in it. It should hold about 12 yards of material. I should be able to fit 3 small trees, and several of my larger hostas in there. I'm putting a mini garden towards the "nose" of the ship's-bow shaped bed. Looking very forward to getting it filled up and planted!
