Last year was different - Academy Fire

Academy Fire is a sport of Francee. It is similar to Moonlight.

At this time last year I had flowers on maybe a dozen fortunei types. This year there is only one on an established plant (I have a couple others but they were moved into more light this season which throw off their flowering time - a Risky Business, a Kiwi Full Monty and a Striptease).

My Academy Fire has two scapes on it after flowering in July. Here it is this weekend.
