Daily Hosta - 'Charlotte's Web' - Add your pics

This thread is, I think, a new one as I didn't have 'Charlotte's Web' when I was doing all this last year.

Description: Small hosta. The leaves have heavily streaked green and white foliage.
Size: Small
Origin: Sport of Doug Beilstein's H. Breeder's Choice seedling - 'Chi-town Classic'
Flowers: pale lavender flowers open in July on 18” scapes

Added to garden: Autumn 2011
Notes: Reportedly a good breeding plant. Mine had one large eye that reverted/sported.

This seems to be a fast growing plant as I have separated out one large eye that sported/reverted to what I'm going to call 'Chi-town Classic' (I hope the purists don't get upset). Anyway, I still have a good healthy plant left.

2014 pic. This has done well, but has been decimated in August by slugs. I also decided that the sport of it can't be called 'Chi-town Classic' because it doesn't have uniform or wide enough margins.

This is the sport. I think it may eventually go solid green.

2015 - July 3. I've divided the sport up for plant sales next spring. It's fast growing, but not particularly interesting.

'Charlotte's Web' also needs to be dug and divided as some of it is reverting. I think it will have to wait until spring though.

2016 update - never got around to dividing it. Must do it in 2017. July 23.
