Name: H. 'White Dove'

Description: Arching, long, narrow, green-centered leaves with a slightly rippled, pure white margin.
Size: Tiny (11"w x 7"h)
Origin: H. 'Beatrice' x H. 'Beatrice'
Flowers: pure white, tubular in mid-summer.

Added to garden: Spring 2008
Notes: It bloomed for the first time in 2012, though the flowers were in late August and it was a hot year with an early spring. I thought I had posted this last year, but couldn't find it. This was had a big setback in 2010 when the squirrels dug it completely out of its pot and left it to die. It didn't as I replanted it in time, but it definitely was set back.

2014 - not a lot of growth on this one, but then it isn't supposed to get large. It has looked good this year and bloomed.

Here is is July 27.

And August 22 with a lovely white flower. Somewhat slug eaten, but not as badly as some years.

2015 - June 21. This one started out well, but was attacked by slugs in July and never did bloom this year. It is slated to be moved so that I can give more space to 'Rainbow's End' which is next to it. I think I may pot it and move it around for a couple of years.

2016 update - I need to move this one. It's got a lovely white flower and has only bloomed once for me. I think it needs more light.
