laevigata is a small hosta from Korea and closely related to H. yingeri. One of the descriptions suggests it may be a hybrid of H. yingeri and H. jonseii.
It has an interesting sport - Ray of Hope - with white streaks and the same flower.

I have had a couple of them in my garden since 2009. I'm going to show pictures over the years.
This first one is in a raised bad. These shots are from 2010.

Re: Daily Hosta #2 - laevigata
The first two shots are of a second plant and were taken in 2010.
The next two shots are of the one in the raised bed in 2011.

Re: Daily Hosta #2 - laevigata
Here is one I picked up this season. It was growing in direct sun.
It got a little damaged by deer so I don't have a good shot of the whole plant. I didn't realize the petioles had color on them. The side view of the flowers shows the two different length of stamen - three are longer. This is the same as H. yingeri but not as big a difference.
