Did well the first few years in my garden. In 2011, it became slug bait. This picture was taken July 18. By the end of the summer it was in ribbons.

This is one of our favorite minis. So subtle, yet beautiful, coloration. In a trough, we can keep the slugs away easier. You've got a nice clump!

Hidden Cove has been one of my favorites too; grows amazingly well for a small plant.
No slug issues with mine either. It's in the mini bed which is mulched with pea gravel.
This year it did suffer some late summer burning, because the half of the redbud tree that
shaded it died over last weinter. The poor thing was getting 4-5 hours of mid-day sun,
but held up really well until September.

I love this one and for whatever reason, it does NOT love me. Mine has struggled the last few years and this year I don't even think it came back...... its a shame, because I really like it!

I have to say that mine did really well for the first couple of years. This past year was an exceptionally bad slug year.

This one was not as badly bothered by slugs as last year, but then it was also dryer. And I used a copper mesh collar around it.

I think this one may be getting smaller. But it survived the season without a lot of slug damage until the end of August. This picture mid-July 2014.

2015 - June 21. This one started out well but we were away for 2 1/2 weeks in July and the slugs got the better of it.

2017 - This one was moved at the beginning of the season to a location with more light and I think it is doing better. Photo July 19.
