Daily Hosta - 'Korean Snow' - Add your pics
I thought I added this one last year but I have searched and searched and can't find the thread, so here it is again.
Name: H. ‘Korean Snow’ - 2008
Description: Very unique variegation...the glossy green leaves have good substance and are misted with fine creamy-white streaks throughout.
Size: Small (18"w x 12"h)
Origin: seedling of H. yingeri discovered by Bob Solberg at Niche Gardens in Chapel Hill, North Carolina.
Flowers: Small, dark purpl, spider-like in late summer.
Source: Budd Gardens
Added to garden: spring 2004
Notes: This one is growing very well. I'm very fond of it. Streaked breeder. It's now quite mature, having been in my garden for 8 years.

I really like this one too. Has a unique look to it.

I was looking at my shots of Korean Snow for this year and they weren't worth posting except for one flower shot. I had to go back to 2010 to get the best images.

Second page:
You can see its H. yingeri heritage in the flower. This last shot is from this year:

2014 is the 11th year in my garden for this one. It's not getting any large, but still looks good and yesterday I saw the start of flower buds on it. This picture from the end of June.

Re: Daily Hosta - 'Korean Snow' - Add your pics
Here is mine from a few years ago. I dug it up and donated it to the MG plant sale a few years ago in desperation after a summer of deer and vole damage that topped everything. This year we returned from MI and there was no deer or vole damage. Our neighbors roaming dogs, a wet summer and a hunter putting his tree stand up on our property and scouting for bow season they are staying away. I guess I have so many plants crammed in that the voles have more to choose from. I think my Journey's End's problem could be due to vole damage - I will find out when I dig it to move it to a new spot. I may buy another KS as it was so beautiful. It was about 6 years old.
