Hosta of the Day - Little Town Flirt

Post by redcrx »

This is a little one that was not doing well in the garden so I put it in a trough last year.

Looks like you made the right choice with that one! Amazing growth from one year to the next.
And time remembered is grief forgotten,
And frosts are slain and flowers begotten.....

It was under a lot of pressure from tree roots - it was in the same area where I had to dig up an entire garden and pot them up. I would expect it to be really nice next year.

I 'like' it. Never heard of it but it has a catchy name.

Hi Carol,

When it came in it huge petioles (about 10 inches) but now it looks like a tiny hosta. I'll find out next season.

Little Town Flirt from yesterday - I was cleaning out my troughs and got these photos.

The little yellow plant to the left is Illicit Affair - it will change color soon developing a dark green center as you can see in the previous posting from September 1, 2017.
