Hosta of the Day - Stargazer

Post by redcrx »

Stargazer is a complex cross of ((x 'Beatrice') x yingeri) x ventricosa 'Aureomarginata' (from MyHostas Database). Mine didn't flower last season so I can't comment on flower shape which the write-up says should be spider form from the yingeri in its heritage.

And this season - it needs a bigger pot.

Found the flowers on this one today. Not quite "spidery" but the intense color is reminiscent of ventricosa.
