Who said hosta flowers aren't pretty???? See Honeysong
This is a picture of 'Honeysong' flowers. I just couldn't believe how pretty they are, hope everyone thinks so also.

Not I! I like hosta flowers. Those are really pretty. Unfortunately, I lost my Honeysong. I may have to try another one.

Looking forward to the pics of the plant too! I love the way those buds are striped that way! Very pretty!

Honeysong growing in a trough with a huge white margin - the ones in the ground have a thin margin.
That's Miss Linda Smith in the trough also. Some in the ground earlier this month (the saw dust around is because a falling pine tree almost hit it):

Those flowers are beautiful. Now I have another to add to my wish list.
Re: Who said hosta flowers aren't pretty????
I went back and dug out some old photos - some historical perspective and more flower pictures.
All my Honeysong came in in 2010. The one in the trough went into a garden space that became overrun with roots and nothing prospered. I started growing things in troughs in 2011 to save what was left of that garden.
Here is that first one late in 2011. And a couple of years later in 2013 in flower. And here is a flower from this season on one of the ones in the ground - sorry it's a little blurred. This looks like a different flower than the one Sue showed at the top of this topic - that one is reminiscent of an Iron Gate type.

A couple of Honeysong planted in the garden.
That's Tick Tock on the right with a tiny Moonlight in the bottom right corner (it should be bigger than that).
And that's Pineapple Punch on the left with Venetian Lace above it and a good size June in the top right corner.
And finally a Gold Standard top/center trying to get into the frame.
