'Touchstone' is a sport of 'Golden Tiara'.

One of the many sports of Golden Tiara but without the "Tiara" name recognition.
This is my best grower in the Tiara family. I have two clusters of it - one in my Tiara group garden and one in full sun. Be warned - there are a lot of flower photos - some are duplicates from a topic last season about differing shapes of flowers: viewtopic.php?f=1&t=55566
Here it is in 2010:

Here is Touchstone in 2011:
This is the one in sun: This photo is showing old scapes and a new one coming up: This is the one in the Tiara Garden with Gold Scepter on the right and Platinum Tiara on the left with Heavenly Tiara at the bottom left:

Re: Hosta of the Day - 'Touchstone'
Touchstone is another good grower for me out of the "Tiara" line. It's a sport of Gold Tiara.
That's Pizzazz top/left corner, Golden Scepter to the right of Touchstone, Teaspoon to the top far right, Platinum Tiara to the left of Touchstone, and Gilded Tiara to the left of that. And another cluster of Touchstone just past the first one. Now the Golden Scepter is on the left edge and Teaspoon is to the left of Touchstone.
Sun Drop is above and Emerald Tiara to the right with Abber Maiden to the right of that. On the far right edge is Velvet Moon looking better than it has in years.
