'Tiny Tears' is an enthusiastic, fast-growing all green mini. I acquired it last year and gave half to a friend. I presently have it in a pot, but this one is such a good grower, I'm sure it could fend for itself in the garden.

I haven't got a picture of my little one yet, I just got it this sumer and planted it in the ground in front of a big boulder where I hope it will make a good ground cover. It was not just one plant when I got it but a half-dozen small pieces. Doing well so far in spite of the heat and drought.

Here is a pic of one of my mini beds last year, with Tiny Tears in the center.
There are also Pandora's Box, Hope and Cherish in that bed, and they all do pretty
well there. All of my minis have done better since I started using pea gravel as a
mulch. Seems to help keep them from frost heave in the late winter and early spring,
and also keeps the soil cool and moist. This bed is on a slight donwhill slope, so it
is also quite well drained.

2014 - I divided this one - had to move it from the pot anyway and enrich the soil and remove the plant that shared the pot. At the time, I took 2 divisions for the spring auction of my Hort. Society. Replanted it in the same pot, but spread out all over it. Picture July 16, 2014.
