Bubble Dance is a streaky sport of Kiwi Full Monty. The streaky colorful leaves still retain the "Striptease" form with the white strip.

I was lucky enough to get this beautiful plant in 2011 from an auction.
Here it is in 2011 when it first came in.
And here it is in 2012.

Wonderful plant you acquired. Thanks for the pics.
Re: Hosta of the Day - Bubble Dance
Has it every had any seeds? Have you ever tried growing them?
Re: Hosta of the Day - Bubble Dance
It's never flowered. I don't think it would set seeds. Hmmm, let me rethink that - I did get seeds from Blue without You last season which surprised me because I hadn't seen pods on Striptease family members. Blue without You is a sport of Striptease and Bubble Dance is a sport of Kiwi Full Monty which is a sport of Striptease. (As a side note - I rarely see pods on any Gold Standard line plants or Fortunei or Fortunei Hyacinthina lineage in general like Francee and Whirlwind. Except on the Gold Standard reverse I have been posting viewtopic.php?f=1&t=55463. I registered the best one as Standard's Bands and have seedlings growing from it (OP) - really ugly plants but still small.)

I get seed pods on Francee all the time.

Bubble Dance today. I'm thinking about looking at the root system and breaking it up - putting a piece back in the ground and leaving what's left in the pot.

I took some pieces off this plant last season and added a piece to one of my Striptease Family gardens that was damaged by chipmunks. It loves the spot.
