I need some ID help on this

I got surprised today while getting flower photos. A couple of plants I got in last season as clausa normalis are full of branched scapes. This is also awfully late for clausa normalis to flower.

I'll post some pictures of the real thing once I'm @ my home computer again, but clausa var. normalis flowers are much darker in color and NOT branched. Leaf seems a smidgen too wide as well and it doesn't appear to exhibit the rhizomatous nature of subject plant either. There are 4 species on Don's Branch-scaped list with tardiflora the most likely candidate.

Thanks Pieter. It's the wrong leaf for tardiflora - I already grow that. Hopefully I'll figure it out when the flowers open.
The worse case would be clausa with branches.
(The baskets are to keep the critters off - I already lost a 'Yoshinogawa' scape.)

This will give you an idea of how rhizomatous it is.. look at the drain holes....

Well the flowers opened today and I found out my garden map was wrong. What I got in was tibae and not clausa normalis. My mistake.

The really good part is these two are branching - I have had a tibae in the garden for years and it has never branched (defective?). They have the same flower.

And the first flower on the second plant gave me a bonus - it has seven petals.
