Bruce will be missed greatly! Another chapter closes in the world of hostas. My condolences to his family and may they take comfort in knowing he touched many lives for the better.

His wife, Lois, sent me a note this morning, not knowing I had already posted the news. It was a sudden heart attack, just days before his 65th birthday. Far too young.
Bruce was one of the first hosta people we knew. A former president of the Delaware Valley Hosta Society. He was so looking forwared to next year's convention, coming back to spend time (as a bus captain) with friends.
