Today's hosta is 'Stealth'. This one came to me accidentally spring 2009 when the grower got it mixed up with 'Lakeside Mom' in its immature stage. They suspected a problem and asked me to watch it and sent me a LM when this proved to be the wrong plant.
'Stealth' is supposed to be streaked and mine was more streaked than it is today. It seems to be settling into a more stable variegated plant but so far I've not been able to find out if this form has a name.

Stealth is the streaked form of H 'Minuteman' that appeared in the tc process according to the database @ the "Hosta Library". MM

However, 'Minuteman' is reverse colour, I believe. http://www.hostalibrary.org/m/minutman.html

redcrx - looks like some of yours is trying to stabilize too.
Name: H. 'Stealth'
Description: Dark green centers with creamy white streaks radiating from 1” white margin Lavender flowers.
Size: Med-Large (36"w x 18"h)
Origin: Cream streak of H. 'Minuteman'.
Flowers: unknown
Source: Goldenbrook Hostas
Added to garden: Spring 2009
This one has been removed from my garden and will go out to plant sales in the spring. It has totally stabilized, is damaged by slugs and hasn't grown well either. 3 strikes against it. Gone.

Pretty when it stays looking the way it should.
